About Jemma

Hello, my name is Jemma, and I am the heart behind Wild Nurturance. I’m a Doula, Holistic Feminine Space Holder, and Facial Therapist, devoted to nurturing and supporting women through every season of life.

Nurturing is woven into the very fabric of who I am—it’s instinctual, a quiet calling that has shaped my life in ways both gentle and profound. From the warmth of my childhood home, where love was shared through homemade meals and garden-grown offerings, to my own journey into motherhood, I have come to understand the power of care, presence, and deep nourishment.

Wild Nurturance is an extension of my heart—a space where I offer warmth, intuitive support, and the kind of care that lingers long after our time together. Whether through postpartum support, nourishing meals, soothing bodywork, or gatherings that bring women together in creativity and connection, my work is about holding space for others in a way that feels safe, restorative, and deeply human.

I believe in slowing down, in honoring the rhythms of life, in finding beauty in the simple and sacred. I believe in touch that heals, food that nourishes, and moments that remind us of our own softness and strength.

This is who I am. This is what I offer. A gentle return to feeling held, supported, and truly seen.

My Story

Nurturing others has always been a part of me. Growing up in a small town south of Hobart, I was surrounded by the simple joys of tending to the garden, cooking nourishing meals, and gathering with loved ones. My family instilled in me a deep appreciation for care, connection, and creating comfort for others—things that continue to shape my work today.

Motherhood deepened this instinct in ways I never expected. For nearly two decades, I have walked this path, growing alongside my three children and learning the beauty and challenges of caring for others while also remembering the importance of being nurtured in return. My own postpartum experiences awakened a calling within me—to support other women in ways I wished I had been held, to offer nourishment, reassurance, and space to simply be.

Alongside my passion for postpartum care, I found my way into beauty therapy, drawn to the power of touch and its ability to bring deep relaxation and healing. With over a decade of working in skin health and bodywork, I’ve learned that true well-being isn’t just about external care—it’s about feeling seen, supported, and held on a deeper level.

With Wild Nurturance and Alchive, I’ve woven together these experiences—motherhood, postpartum care, bodywork, and intuitive nourishment—to create spaces where women can feel truly cared for. Whether through a nourishing meal, a grounding massage, or a sacred gathering, my intention is always to offer a space where you can exhale, be supported, and reconnect with yourself.

I want to make it easier for women to find ways that they can be supported, practice self-love through acts of sacred nurturing during tricky transitional times and have help readily available in their lives.

Nurturing and support goes so incredibly far when you’ve been over worked, over stimulated and under nourished. So it was with a little push and a big decision to step into the business and start offering my services to help nourish the women in my community.

With all my love and kindness Jemma. xxx
